Helexia, an international player in the energy transition and a subsidiary of Voltalia, announced in April 2022 the acquisition of Cap Sud, a company specializing in the construction of agricultural buildings with photovoltaic roofs. One year later, following its successful integration, Cap Sud takes a new step and becomes Helexia Agri. Adrien Demont is appointed head of Helexia Agri.
Helexia Agri complements the offer of Helexia France, a player in the energy transition and decarbonization of industrial, tertiary, and agricultural activities.
Founded in 2006, Cap Sud – now Helexia Agri – specializes in the development, construction, and operation of photovoltaic power plants on the roofs of agricultural buildings. The company joined the Helexia group in April 2022.
Mainly active with commercial and industrial clients, Helexia France also has experience in the agricultural sector with more than 200 operating plants. The successful integration of Cap Sud and its team allows Helexia France to strengthen its offer for farmers by offering the installation of agricultural buildings with photovoltaic roofs.
Helexia France and Helexia Agri are complementary and offer a range of expertise and global solutions to support their clients in their energy transition and decarbonization of their activity.
Adrien Demont appointed COO of Helexia Agri
A recognized expert in photovoltaics, Adrien Demont is a former Helexia employee where he worked as a photovoltaic project manager from 2015-2019, following an entrepreneurial project – the company Activolt that he founded in 2006. He then continued his career as head of the construction department within a competing company.
“I am delighted to return to Helexia and put my expertise at the service of this large-scale project that fits perfectly with the group’s DNA. Cap Sud is one of the pioneers of agricultural photovoltaics. With the synergies between the two entities, Helexia Agri aims to become a leading player in this rapidly growing market”, said Adrien Demont.
